Omar Abukhlal to speak at ATS Aerospace, Aviation & Mobility Track

The Athens Tech Summit is pleased to announce that Omar Abukhlal, Co-Founder and CEO of GR1T Motors, will deliver a keynote presentation in the Aerospace & Automotive Mobility track, titled “Achieving European Sustainability Goals: The Role of Electric Motorcycles.”
With over two decades of global banking and wealth-management experience, Omar Abukhlal brings a unique blend of financial acumen and automotive passion. He spent his earlier career in Zurich, serving ultra- and high-net-worth individuals at PrimeStone Partners AG, as well as senior roles at Bank Cantonale de Geneve and BNP Paribas Suisse.
Now, as CEO of GR1T Motorcycles, he oversees strategic growth, product development, manufacturing and commercial operations, leveraging his deep relationships across European automotive, motocross and financial sectors.
In his session at Athens Tech Summit, Omar will analyse the often-overlooked motorcycle segment in the transition toward a net-zero Europe. He will examine the scale of the European motorcycle market in 2025, the current state of electrification, and the implications for meeting EU targets of phasing out new internal-combustion vehicle sales by 2035 and achieving carbon-neutrality by 2050.
